Applications are invited from PGY1-PGY4 resident physicians who are in good standing at a Canadian university department of anesthesia.
The CAS also offers support for individuals committed to doing research during their residency training. Granted annually to the highest-ranked applicant in the Residents’ Awards competition, the award will provide up to $10,000 to support anesthesia-related research performed by a resident in Canada.

Residents must be members of the CAS and must propose to carry out an original project within Canada and meet eligibility requirements for a Residents’ Award.
